Fine Motor Difficulties

FINE MOTOR SKILLS:
Fine motor skills refer small movements / actions that use the small muscles of the fingers, toes, wrists, lips, and tongue, such as tracing, coloring, grasping a small object between the thumb and a finger, using the lips and tongue to taste an object and self-feeding using a spoon.
Difficulties with fine motor skills can be incredibly frustrating for the child as well as his teachers and parents.
Children having fine motor difficulties often struggle with drawing, coloring, tying shoelaces, putting on as well as taking off their clothes in addition to other everyday fine motor tasks.
