- provides bilingual (Arabic / English) services, as necessary
- protects and promotes patients rights
- respects the parents and / or patients right to receive information in a comprehensive manner
- communicates with the patient who has speech, hearing, or cognitive impairments in a manner that meets the patient’s needs
- respects the parents’ and / or patients right to participate in decisions about their care, treatment, and services
- considers any information received during the parent interview or revealed by assessments completely confidential and information are never released unless a consent is received from the patient (in case of adults ) / parents or caregivers (in case of children)
- respects the patients and / or parents’ rights to receive realistic expectations regarding prognosis and future progress
