Behavior problems
A child's reduced compliance and limited cooperation can represent a major obstacle to his learning process. Children with language and communication difficulties often exhibit some behavioral problems that usually occur as a comorbid condition or are secondary to the frustration they experience secondary to their inability to properly express their needs and interact with others.
Aggression may even worsen the condition in some cases; children may be aggressive to their peers; both physically as well as verbally. While dealing with these negative behaviors, it is important that all the adults dealing with the child's behavior problems should be consistent in the way they handle the child's misbehavior. Moreover, it is important to study and carefully analyze the settings and situations that stimulate the occurrence of such negative behaviors.
Parents, teachers and all adults interacting with the child are models. They model behavior and children learn a great deal from watching the way they behave not only with them but also with others.
